Autobody Fine Art Presents
PINUPS FOR PITBULLS
Saturday, February 20, 2010 – 7pm-midnight
Autobody Fine Art is an exhibition space dedicated to the contemporary art of emerging and under represented artists from Northern California and beyond. They are located in Alameda on the second floor of, what used to be, an autobody repair shop. The Directors and Owners, Colin Herrick and Jacqueline Cooper, have over two decades of experience in the contemporary art world and are very excited about the prospects of working with artists and collectors from Alameda and the San Francisco Bay Area. They are particularly focused on assisting prospective private and corporate collectors in purchasing and understanding the methods of building an informed art collection.
They believe that contemporary art is a mirror of society and as such it should be stimulating and occasionally confrontational.
donation at the door: $10-$20
All proceeds will go to BAD RAP and Pinups for Pitbulls, organizations dedicated to improving the lives of American Pit Bull Terriers.
