Dead Love: Zombie Novel Bram Stoker Award Nominee!

Deadlings, I am absolutely THRILLED to announce that DEAD LOVE is a 2010 Bram Stoker Award Nominee for Superior Achievement in a Novel!

This is like the Oscars for sci-fi/horror/fantasy literature. DEAD LOVE is actually up against books by heavy hitters, Peter Straub and Joe Hill (Stephen King’s son), AND … it’s the only book by a woman in its category!

Thanks to all you dark and darling DEAD LOVE-rrrrs and ZIA members for your undying support. This is a big deal for a little literary novel from a small independent press.

I’m hoping it’ll put the book on the readers’ radar! Maybe now that limited first edition hardcover with the manga insert will sell out quickly and suddenly climb in value! Hang on to your copies …

The official announcement is on the HWA page.

Congrats Linda. That’s quite an honor. I’m sure you’ll keep us posted on this. Promoting a book can be a challenge, especially, as you say, for a little literary novel from a small independent press, but this is how it all starts these days. In the several years I have known you, I have always seen you as a success.
