Dead Love: Walk Like a Zombie 2010

‘Tis the season … the season for Zombie Walks!

If you’ve never been on one, this is the year to go, and be sure to bring your copy of DEAD LOVE with you. It will make you very popular with the other zombies in a way that doesn’t involve them eating YOUR brain. They can devour the book instead.

My plan is to post on some of the best zombie stagger-stumble-shuffles coming up. Naturally, there will be a kind of randomness in these event posts, so don’t look for anything ridiculous—like order—in the way they get slapped up. It’s purely an impulse thing … you know … whatever is at the top of my brain. I’m not about to dig too deep, ugh; that’s just not the zombie or part zombie or zombie-crazy way.

I’ll kick it into gear by alerting you to my current favorite monster crawl— the Toronto Zombie Walk—brain-child of gloriously and glamorously ghoulie Thea Munster who is virtually unstoppable and relentless in her pursuit of matters zombie. The 2010 Walk happens on Saturday, October 23rd. The starting point is Trinity Bellwoods Park at  3pm, and it looks like it’s going to be quite a mob. Shove your way in early (oh, do remember your zombie manners!) to register, or you can pre-register at Starstruck Entertainment and Eyesore Cinema. Registration is free and you will get a $2 discount on the Return of the Living Dead screening the night of the walk.
