Dead Love: Twilight Zone Terror

This one gets even the ghouls grinning.

Well, we were talking about Comic-Con and Leslie and Emma remembered an old Twilight Zone episode, “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet,” wherein our hero, William Shatner, wins an Academy Award for overacting when a creature that looks like the abominable snowman appears out of nowhere and starts doing naughty things on the wing of his plane. Horrors! You can watch it in its entirety and then take a look at the faster, newer viewer version of the same nightmare from the folks at SNL.

Clearly William was already going where no man has gone before … in signature style. In Star Trek he finally gets to confront some of the evil creatures that populate the universe and triumph over them … and with even greater and more evident spiritual and psychological angst.

The Slice delivers some solid levity – always when Sir William is spoofed. Who says zombies don't laugh? (but way back in the corner of the sound stage, I thought I heard braaaaiiiinnnnnss … yikes!
