Dead Love: Survival of the Dead

On an island off the coast of Delaware … the Irish are feuding, of course. This time it’s about zombies.

In the latest George A. Romero zombie flick, Survival of the Dead, humans grapple with the age old question: Can you rehabilitate a zombie? Romero, the American filmmaker, writer, editor, director who is responsible for the classic, Night of the Living Dead as well as Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Land of the Dead, Diary of the Dead and more, just can’t seem to shake the zombie horde. It seems that once they get their hands on you, they just won’t go away.

The horror film opened to mixed reviews last week, but who cares? This is really good stuff in a tradition that has been known to dig deep and come up empty handed. I’m just saying …
