Dead Love: Comic-Con is On

Comic-Con is going on. The big international show is happening in the San Diego Convention Center even as I write, and it will continue through July 25th. Special guests include Neal Adams, artist and publisher (Batman, X-Men, Ms Mystic); Ray Bradbury, author and screenwriter best known for The Martian Chronicles, The Illustrated Man, Something Wicked This Way Comes, and Fahrenheit 451; Berkeley Breathed, syndicated cartoonist and creator of Bloom County, Outland and the penguin, Opus; Chris Claremont, writer for Uncanny X-Men and X-Men Forever and countless others.

Its a frenzied film and fiend fest. There’ll be exhibitors, all-day anime, movie news, and—Saturday night—the 36th Annual Comic-Con International Masquerade.

Oh, I want to go to the ball!

If this event is anywhere similar to WonderCom in SF earlier this year, it'll be proof positive that zombies walk the earth – in hordes. The crowds shuffle and sway past exhibits, slowing down to a zombie crawl if there are free giveaways…love it!

“The Illustrated Man” is the best! Glad to have RAy Bradbury on your team!
