Dead Love: Bozeman Zombie Walk a Bloody Success

The zombies walked, stalked and rocked out in Bozeman, Montana this weekend, led by the lovely corpse bride, herself. We’ll get the full scoop from Jessi Sparkman, the wicked-bright genius behind it, next week.

In other news, a bunch of zombies were involved in a car crash in Portland last week. No, I am not making this up. Everyone knows you should never let a zombie drive!

Finally, don’t forget to catch American Grindhouse at the Roxie Cinema today. It’s a documentary about the full history and impact of grindhouse films in America. That’s low budget, exploitative, bump and grind cinema, for those of you who don’t know. Sounds like just about every film these days, doesn’t it? Today’s trash is tomorrow’s glitter. Hang on to that zombie pal.

Stranger than fiction – zombies on the move in Montana, zombies behind the wheel in Portland, zombies in our own backyard, in local museums, enmasse on screen … The world is marvelously dark and entertaining. Is the zombie horde on the move to get to CA by September? They better hurry!
